The Great Underwater Experience

Shade from the huge rock formations will offer you protection from the sun.  The bay side of this beach will be the safe swimming and snorkeling side.  The fish will eat right out of your hands, those tortillas you didn't eat with your dinner last night make for some excellent fish food.  A mask, fins and snorkel are very highly recommended not to be left behind.  Be sure not to forget your camera either.  Although there are no real facilities at this by boat only destination, Xavier will be glad to sell you a beverage from his cooler.  The Pacific Ocean side of this beach is spectacular to watch.  The huge waves put on a never ending water ballet. It sometime becomes inviting for a dip, however please refrain.  The quick drop of the beach creates an undertow that is extremely unforgiving, even for the most fit of swimmers.
